Lesson 10: Conjunct Consonants
In lesson 10, you will learn how to write conduct consonants giving you the ability to read and write anything in Sanskrit. You will also learn a number of Sanskrit words.
In this lesson you will…
- Learn about संयुक्त व्यञ्जनानि (saṃyukta vyañjanāni) or conjunct consonants and how to write them.
- Learn about other symbols used in Devanāgarī.
- Briefly learn about the concept of Sandhi.
- Review certain letters that look similar to each other.
- Practice writing words with conjunct consonants.
Lesson 11: Selections from the Vedic Literature, Part 1
Lesson 11 takes the study of Vedic Science to another level as we examine selections from the Vedic literature. We will break each selection down with a word for word translation and commentary while exploring deep concepts in yoga philosophy. You will also learn a number of vocabulary words.
In this lesson you will…
- Read and study selections from the Vedic literature including the Yoga Sūtras and the Upaniṣads.
- Learn more concepts from Vedic Science and yoga philosophy.
Lesson 12: Selections from the Vedic Literature, Part 2
In lesson 12, we continue our study of Sanskrit, Vedic Science and the Vedic literature with a word by word analysis and commentary of each selection. You will also learn a number of Sanskrit Vocabulary words.
In this lesson you will…
- Review selections from the Vedic literature including the Ṛk Veda, the Bhagavad Gītā and others.
- Continue to explore the concepts of Vedic Science.
